چکیده

Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is a highly invasive malignant tumor in the head and neck area. As an oncogene, long non?coding RNA (lncRNA) nuclear enriched abundant transcript 1 (NEAT1) promotes proliferation, migration invasion several types of cancer. The present study aimed to reveal effects NEAT1 on progression LSCC. Reverse transcription?quantitative PCR (RT?qPCR) was used detect relative mRNA expression levels NEAT1, microRNA (miR)?204?5p semaphorin (SEMA) 4B. Kaplan?Meier analysis analyze overall survival times. in?situ hybridization (ISH) exhibited distribution miR?204?5p tissues. fluorescence ISH cells. Western blot level target proteins. Cell viability analyzed using MTT assay, while flow cytometry determine apoptosis. Wound healing Transwell assays were value invasion, respectively. immunoprecipitation bioinformatics prediction dual luciferase reporter assay relationship. RT?qPCR results showed that expressed had decreased LSCC tissues cells compared with normal tissue 16HBE?14o line, Knockdown small interfering (si) overexpressed both effectively inhibited Besides, further experiments revealed NEAT1. At same time, silenced reversed anti?tumor si?NEAT1. In addition, SEMA4B targeted by upregulated weakened antitumor regulated targeting Overall, promoted proliferation regulating miR?204?5p/SEMA4B axis.

Long non-coding RNA ATB promotes malignancy of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by regulating miR-200b/Kindlin-2 axis

Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death, especially in China. In addition, the prognosis of late stage patients is extremely poor. However, the biological significance of the long non-coding RNA lnc-ATB and its potential role in ESCC remain to be documented. In this study, we investigated the role of lnc-ATB and the underlying mechanism pro...

Long noncoding RNA NEAT1 promotes cell proliferation and invasion by regulating hnRNP A2 expression in hepatocellular carcinoma cells

Growing evidence demonstrates that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are involved in the progression of various cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The role of nuclear-enriched abundant transcript 1 (NEAT1), an essential lncRNA for the formation of nuclear body paraspeckles, has not been fully explored in HCC. We aimed to determine the expression, roles and functional mechanisms of N...

Long noncoding RNA NEAT1 promotes nasopharyngeal carcinoma progression through regulation of miR-124/NF-κB pathway

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is one of the most common malignancies and seriously endangers people's health. Recently, long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) NEAT1 has been determined as an oncogenic gene in a variety of cancers. However, the effect of NEAT1 in NPC and its underlying mechanism have not been well elaborated. In this study, the data showed that NEAT1 was upregulated and miR-124 was downre...

Integrated Analysis of Long Noncoding RNA and mRNA Expression Profile in Advanced Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) plays an important role in tumorigenesis. However, the expression pattern and function of lncRNAs in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) are still unclear. To investigate the aberrantly expressed lncRNAs and mRNAs in advanced LSCC, we screened lncRNA and mRNA expression profiles in 9 pairs of primary Stage IVA LSCC tissues and adjacent non-neoplastic tissues by...

Overexpression of long noncoding RNA PEG10 promotes proliferation, invasion and metastasis of hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma

The present study aimed to investigate the impact of overexpression of long noncoding RNA PEG10 (lncRNA PEG10) on the proliferation, invasion and metastasis of hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HSCC). Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was used to quantify lncRNA PEG10 expression levels in HSCC tumor tissues samples, para-carcinoma tissue samples and the HSCC FaD...
